In 2021, we looked back on 120 years of looking forward, we celebrated the curiosity, freedom, self-worth, tenacity, confidence, love of learning and work ethic of all our current and past students and we recognised the unique impact they have as they discover new possibilities and find their place in the world.
We would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung, the Boonwurrung and the Taungurung peoples of the Kulin Nation, whose sovereignty was never ceded, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future, for they hold the memories, traditions, culture and hopes of First Nations Peoples. We would also like to recognise their continuing connection to Country and culture.Â
We would like to acknowledge that our community is diverse; and Lauriston values an inclusive and accepting environment for all ages, genders, abilities, races, religions, sexualities and cultures.
